You can enjoy a series of short passages today. Take your first swim off Lastovnjaci (from Zaklopatica, it is four miles to this group of islets). The lagoon of the island of Saplun is particularly, beautiful. While sailing in the wider area of these cruising grounds, watch out for reefs and shoals!
After a refreshing swim, it is less than eight miles of sailing to reach the shores of Korcula to the north of Lastovo. You will arrive at the nicest part of Korcula's cruising grounds - the nine-mile stretch between Brno and the bay of Tri Luke (three harbors). (There are many safe havens from the maestral or sirocco-driven waves in this area.)
In Brna, you can stop and buy what the locals call a damjana, a vat-like magnum bottle of Posip or Rukatac, the peninsula's most famous wines. There are nice anchorages around the four islands off Priaba or else off the small peninsula lined with mostly summer cottages. Further on to the west, there is the tiny harbor of Grscica, and continuing in this direction you will come across another string of islets where, between the elongated islet of Zvirinovnik and the mainland harbor of Karbuni, there are good anchorages even for large ships. The nicest spot for anchoring is between the two islets of Praznjak in the close proximity of the safe havens of three-pronged bay of Tri Luke.
