The marina is open year round. It is located along the eastern shore of the island of Iz, which is west of the island of Ugljan and east of the island of Rava and the larger island of Dugi Otok.
Approach:
The small islet of Rutnjak is located just in front of the small harbor of Veli Iz and is a useful landmark. The hotel Korinjak is visible on the northern side of the harbor. When approaching care should be taken of shoals.
Mooring:
There are 45 berths along the coast and 150 on the land for yachts up to 14 m.
The marina is protected from all winds.
Facilities:
Facilities include water and electricity hook ups, showers and toilets and an exchange office.
Hull and engine repairs are possible, and the marina is equipped with a crane and slipway.
In the Area:
The island of Iz has two villages: Veli Iz and Mali Iz.
The island of Rutnjak, located in front of the entrance of the harbor of Veli Iz, is a park.
There is a pre-Romanesque church from the 11th century on the island, and nearby the church there is a fortified castle.
