Flights connect Zagreb to the majority of European cities. Croatia Airlines, the domestic airline company, operates regular flights to 17 international destinations - Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Mostar, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje, Tel Aviv, Vienna and Zurich. Some 20 other airlines fly to and from Croatia with more or less regular frequency. In the summer, Croatia Airlines also has direct flights from Pula and Split to London, and naturally there are numerous charter flights from anywhere. Croatia has four international airports (Zagreb, Split, Pula and Dubrovnik) and a number of domestic ones.
Regular international bus services connect Zagreb with all neighbouring countries, as well as Switzerland, France, Germany and Slovakia.
Trains connect Croatia to Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Switzerland and Yugoslavia. Express services run from Zagreb to major cities including Munich, Vienna, Venice, Budapest and Berlin.
International ferries link Croatia to Greece and Italy.
Travellers with their own vehicle can use four border crossings between Hungary and Croatia, 29 between Slovenia and Croatia, 23 between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia and 7 between Yugoslavia and Croatia.
